Robert Gordon Koerber Sr.

Robert Gordon Koerber Sr., age 77, of Forest Hill, MD passed away on July 2, 2013 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Edwin L. Koerber Sr. and Alma M. Koerber. He was a veteran of the National Guard and had worked for C&P Telephone Company and AT&T as a telephone technician for over 30 years. An avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed crabbing with his son and Uncle George. He was a Little League Baseball coach and was involved with the Boys Brigade. He was very artistic and enjoyed oil painting and animals. Bob always said "If I haven't made someone laugh or smile, I haven't done my job for the day."

Mr. Koerber is survived by his wife of 27 years, Janice Elaine (Breighner) Koerber; son, Robert G. Koerber Jr. of Chula Vista, CA; daughter, Bonnie Lee Gruse of Bel Air; grandchildren, Patricia Mendoza, Eddie Preciado, Ruby Preciado and Vincent Gruse; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Edwin L. Koerber Jr.
