Robert Franklin Acker Jr.

ROBERT FRANKLIN ACKER JR., age 46, of Abingdon, MD, died on October 31, 2006 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of Robert Franklin Acker Sr. of Cononwingo, MD and the late Nancy Lou Miller Acker. He worked as a concrete finisher for Ronnie Cage and Foltz Enterprises and also worked for Chesapeake Spice as a mixer.

In addition to his father, Mr. Acker is survived by one son, Jacob Cordell Walker-Acker of Aberdeen, MD; one daughter, Tiffany Marie Acker of Easton, MD; two brothers, Theodore Acker of Abingdon, MD and Terry Acker of Perryman, MD; two sisters, Mary Miller of Monkton, MD and Sue Ann Dennis of Wilkesboro, NC; and four grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by one daughter, Donna Mae Acker; and his grandparents, Theodore and Anna Acker.

Pallbearers were John Rudd, William Barnes, Carroll Taylor, Daniel Taylor, James Taylor and Troy Cates.
