Robert E. Webb

ROBERT E. WEBB, age 90, of Joppatowne, MD, died on April 21, 2006 at the Franklin Woods Center in Baltimore, MD. Born in Williamsport, WV, he was the son of the late Harry Vaye and Mable Anice Letherman Webb. He served in the US Army during WWII. He worked several years as a firefighter at the Bethlehem Steel Key Highway Shipyard, and many years for the Army Corps of Engineers, from which he retired.

Mr. Webb is survived by one son, Gene Chance of Joppatowne, MD; two brothers, Kenneth E. Webb of Abingdon, MD and Waldo H. Webb of Keyser, WV; and three sisters, Lola Norris and Catherine Gladding, both of Baltimore, MD and Janice Kelley of Edgewood, MD.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Herman Webb, Paul Webb and Frank Webb; and one sister, Virginia Weese.
