Robert E. Mioduski, age 90, of Aberdeen, Maryland passed away on December 16, 2022. Born in Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Joseph and Sophia (Stryczynski) Mioduski. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of the Korean War. Following his military service, he attended college and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and later a Master of Science degree in Statistics. He enjoyed a lengthy career as an Operations Research Analyst working at the Aberdeen Proving Ground. He was a baseball fan, especially of the Boston Red Sox, and played both baseball and softball throughout his life. While in high school, Robert was even invited to try out for the St. Louis Cardinals. He loved old Western movies and a good musical. Most of all, he will be remembered for his good sense of humor, his ability to talk to anyone, and his love of life.
Robert is survived by son, Kenneth Alan Mioduski and daughter-in-law Claudia Sotelo (Mioduski); daughter, Karen Mioduski; granddaughter, Ana Sophia Mioduski; nephews, John Mioduski and Michael Sadowski; and nieces, Susan Siergiej and Catherine Pawlowski.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by brothers Joseph and Daniel Mioduski; sister, Bernadine Sadowski and nephew Joseph Sadowski.
Visitation will be held under the caring guidance of the McComas Funeral Home, Bel Air, Maryland on Thursday, December 29, 2022, 2 - 4 pm & 6 - 8pm. The family will be hosting a memorial service in the Spring of 2023 in Glen Lyon, PA.
