ROBERT “BOB” E. GOLDING, age 86, of Bel Air, MD, died on December 30, 2006, at his home. Born in Philipsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Tom and Phyllis Harris Golding. He served our country in the Army Air Corps during WWII as a B17 pilot. He was employed at APG Edgewood Arsenal as a mechanical engineer before retiring after 33 years. He enjoyed traveling, working on computers, and going to Florida for the winter.
Mr. Golding is survived by his wife of 45 years, Margaret Golding (nee George), of Bel Air, MD; three sons, R. Thomas Golding of Bel Air, MD, William G. Golding of Bel Air, MD, and Gerome E. Golding of Lynchburg, VA; three grandchildren, Katie Golding of Canonsburg, PA, Maggie Golding of Bel Air, MD, and Chanz Golding of Lynchburg, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, William, Jack and Tom, and two sisters, Florence and Sarah.
