Robert Brewer

ROBERT “BOB” L. BREWER, 82, of Jarrettsville, died at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on July 21, 2003. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late William and Elizabeth Cooper Brewer. He retired after 15 years from the Maryland Horse Racing Tracks where he was a security guard. He had also been a security guard at the Federal Reserve Bank in Baltimore. He was a member of the V.F.W. in Hamden, Maryland. He served in the Army Air Force during WWII.

Mr. Brewer is survived by his wife of 60 years, Virginia S. Sullivan Brewer; a son, Gary R. Brewer of Finksburg; a daughter, Virginia L. Purcell of Jarrettsville; a brother, Walter Brewer of Baltimore; three grandchildren, Stacey Bridges of Jarrettsville, Erik Brewer of Taneytown, and Kirsten Saulter of Owings Mills; and three great grandchildren.
