Robert ''Bob'' O. Griffin, Sr.

ROBERT “BOB” O. GRIFFIN SR., age 84, of Joppa, MD, died on June 9, 2007 at his home. Born in Perry Hall, MD, he was the son of the late Raymond and Bessie Dunty Griffin. A veteran, he served our country and was a very proud Marine. He was employed with Black & Decker for 35 years. An avid gun collector, he was a Civil War enthusiast and enjoyed wildlife. A wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he enjoyed life and treated every day as a gift.

Mr. Griffin is survived by his wife, Mabel Halsey Griffin of Joppa, MD; two sons, Bob Griffin Jr. of Brookfield, WI and Gary A. Griffin of Minneapolis, MN; two sisters, Edith Sheldon of Wildwood, NJ and Jean Murphy of Kissimmee, FL; three grandchildren, Rob Griffin III of Elm Grove, WI, Jason Griffin of Pewaukee, WI, and Brian Griffin of St. Petersburg, FL; and six great-grandchildren, Maddie Griffin, Jacob Griffin and Eleanor Griffin, of Elm Grove, WI and Claire Griffin, Bobby Griffin, and Gavin Griffin of St. Petersburg, FL.
