Robert (Bob) L. Echard

Robert "Bob" L. Echard, age 90, of Joppa, MD, passed away on March 13, 2014 at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson, MD. Born in Connellsville, PA, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Echard and husband of the late Anneliese Echard. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during WWII and the Korean and Vietnam Wars, and was employed for the U.S. Government as an Air Traffic Controller.

Mr. Echard is survived by his grandchildren, Laura-Lynn Echard Karwoski and husband, Stan, of Monroeville, PA, Robert and Gregory Echard, both of Pittsburgh, PA; great-grandchildren, Kendall Echard, Kaylee Echard and Stanley Karwoski; niece, Carolyn Cross and husband, Robert, of Canada; and dear friends, Dan and Cheryl Orr, Vera Clark, Cathie Pace and Mary "Scootsie" Hatter.
