ROBERT (BOB) BLAKE, age 68, of Forest Hill, died at his residence on October 21, 2002. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Robert Blake and Frances Novak Ludwig. For 35 years, he worked for Western Electric which later became AT& T. He was the supervisor for cable splicing. He traveled a lot with his job, laying and repairing ocean cable telephone lines. After retiring, he enjoyed jet skiing, his family and friends. He was proud of his job and enjoyed sharing information about it. He was a resident of Harford County for 16 years. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Blake is survived by his wife of 45 years, Betty L. King Blake; one daughter, Cheryl Ann Blake of Forest Hill; one brother, Clarence Ludwig of Dundalk; one sister, Leona Daniel of Perry Hall; and many nieces and nephews.
