Robert Lee Beaty

Robert Lee Beaty, age 66, of Abingdon, Maryland, passed away on July 12, 2024, at Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill, Maryland. Born in Maryland, he was the son of George and Virginia (Smith) Beaty. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from 1976 to 1980 as a navigator on the USS Dixie.

A lifelong resident of Harford County, Robert graduated from Harford Vocational Technical High School. In 1998, he founded Fine Finishes by Rob, where he passionately restored beloved furniture for his clients. Robert was also a dedicated member of Emmorton Baptist Church, where he was known for his strong faith and unwavering friendships.

Robert is survived by his sisters, Joyce R. (Gregory) Racheotes and Donna L. Feliceangeli; niece, Lauren Feliceangeli; and nephew, Raymond Lee Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Philip Feliceangeli.

Robert will be remembered as a faithful friend, a wonderful brother, and a man who held strong beliefs in God. His kindness, dedication, and love for his community will be greatly missed.
