Robert Arthur Welsh

ROBERT ARTHUR WELSH, age 73, of Joppa, died at his home on June 18, 2005. Born in Jamaica, New York, he was the son of the late Thomas Welsh and Violette Heineken Hoaglin. After retiring from Commercial Credit where he was a benefits administrator, he worked for Baltimore Gas and Electric. He was a graduate of Penn State University. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and active in the Joppatowne Lions Club. He was proud of being “Pop-pop” to his family. He served his country in the U. S. Navy for four years.

Mr. Welsh is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patricia Anne Colegrove Welsh of Joppa; two sons, Todd Alan Welsh and his wife, Julie of Boonsboro, MD and Tedd Andrew Welsh and his wife, Lauren of Abingdon; one sister, Violette McLitus of Wellsboro, PA; and six grandchildren.
