Robert Allen Shumate

Robert Allen Shumate, age 68, of Street, Maryland passed away on January 27, 2020 at his home. Born in Maryland, he was the son of the late John Ray and Helen Elizabeth (Johnson) Shumate and husband of the late Evelyn Louise (Jones) Shumate. Robert was a avid fisherman. He also enjoyed antiques cars and cheering on the Baltimore Ravens, but his true love was spending time with his family.

Robert is survived by his son, John Ray Shumate of Bel Air and his girlfriend, Jennifer Anne McIntire; step-daughter, Amanda Louise Swearingen and her husband, Keith; grandson, Ryan Reshawn Shumate; step-grandson, Austin Michael Allen; step-granddaughter, Kaley Louise Swearingen; sister-in-law, Grace Shumate; three nephews, David Ray, Bryan Wayne, and Gary John Shumate Jr.; also survived by his furry companions Max, Rusty, and Sox.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by brother, Gary John Shumate.
