Rita L. Harper

Rita L. Harper, of Joppa, MD, died at the age of 92 on October 26, 2016 at Citizens Care Center in Havre de Grace, MD. She was born in Baltimore, MD to Frederick Thomas and Anna Frances (Sauer) Gebhardt and was the wife of the late Edgar R. Harper Jr. She was a Life Member of the Ladies Auxiliary Joppa-Magnolia Fire Department and loved spending time with her family. She took great pride in her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She adored her Cats and loved to go shopping.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Pollock and husband, Al; her grandchildren, Kim Mueller and David Pollock and wife, Katherine; her great-grandchildren, Philip Kinhart, Isabella and Sophia Mueller, and Ava Pollock; her brother, Fred Gebhardt and wife, Ruth; and her nieces and nephews, Carole Long, Mark, Greg, Kevin and Freddie Gebhardt and their spouses.
