Rita Joyce Falanga

Rita Joyce Falanga (nee Eckley), 72, of Jarrettsville, MD, passed away on February 20, 2015 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Brooklyn, MD, she was the daughter of the late Kayle Eckley and Gladys Hymiller Selph. She worked as the Secretary to the Vice President of Maryland General Hospital. She also ran, along with her husband, the "Hit the Road In Style" store which sold biker leathers at the Thomasville, PA flea market. A member of Grandview Christian Church, she liked to talk about Jesus and the Gospel, and she loved her animals.

Mrs. Falanga is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ronald Falanga of Jarrettsville.

In lieu of flowers, the Rita Falanga Memorial Fund has been established and donations may be directed to PNC Bank, Jarrettsville, MD.
