Rita Chilcoat

Rita Chilcoat, age 83, of Bel Air, MD passed away on February 2, 2017 at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of Roland Ruff and Helen Magdeline (Dukehart) Childs and was the wife, for 35 years, of the late H. Douglas Chilcoat. She was a graduate of Towson Catholic High School and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Mrs. Chilcoat is survived by her son, Howard D. Chilcoat Jr. of Richmond, VA; daughter, Dawn Marie Shamlian of Ft Myers, FL; two brothers, Cyril Childs of Leeland, NC and Roland Childs of Taneytown; two sisters, Corinne Price of Sparks and Joan Yost of Bel Air; and three grandchildren, William Chilcoat of Richmond, VA, Hunter Shamlian and Peri Shamlian both of Ft Myers, FL.
