Ricky Allen Michels

Ricky Allen Michels, age 49, of Edgewood, was called home to his Heavenly Father on February 12, 2009. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Thomas Peter and Patricia Ann Whetstone Michels of Edgewood, MD. He grew up in Edgewood, moving there in 1971, and attended Edgewood High School. He loved fishing and sports, and was a huge Ravens fan.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Michels is survived by his long time companion, Cindy Soto of Silver Spring, MD; his son, Wesley Soto Michels of Silver Spring, MD; his daughters, Jasmin Soto Michels and Jade Soto Michels, both of Silver Spring, MD; brothers, Thomas D. Michels of Edgewood, MD and Mark A. Michels of Preston, MD; sisters, Tonya D. Oleska of Nanticoke, MD, Patti S. DiPaola of Laurel, MD, Melissa L. Huber of Elkton, MD, Jessica H. Michels of Abingdon, MD, Julia R. Michels of Bel Air, MD and Tradonna M. Michels of Edgewood, MD; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Neno C. Michels.
