Richard Thomas Cole

Richard Thomas Cole, age 77, of Forest Hill, MD passed away on April 4, 2016, at the Stella Maris Hospice. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late William Harvey and Mildred Mary Elizabeth (nee Schmidt) Cole. After graduating from City High School in Baltimore, he joined the Navy. At the end of his Navy tour he lived in California where he established a successful hair styling salon. In 2001, Richard sold his business, retired, and moved back to Maryland living in both Forest Hill, MD and the United Kingdom. He was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church and a former member of Christ Episcopal Church.

Richard is survived by his brother, Harvey R. Cole and his wife Mary of Forest Hill; niece Nancy J. Cole of Reisterstown; nephews Daniel R. Cole of Forest Hill; and David H. Cole of Bel Air. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his life partner Norman Brandt.
