Richard Thomas Campbell

Richard Thomas Campbell, age 80, of Bel Air, MD passed away on January 31, 2018. Born in Pottsville, PA, he was the son of Charles and Kathryn (Tomko) Campbell. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was a teacher and guidance counselor for 34 years and an assistant football coach at Bel Air High School. He was an avid basketball and football fan of the Maryland Terps. He enjoyed traveling here and abroad, gardening, and reading.

Mr. Campbell is survived by his wife, Sue Mowery Campbell; two sons, Sean Campbell and Carole, Matthew Campbell and wife, Laura. Also survived by Kristina Melnick and husband, Oleg; grandchildren, Jack and Cecelia Campbell; grandchildren, Lev and Irene; and brother, Charles Campbell.
