Richard Stephen Henning

Richard Stephen Henning, age 96, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on April 16, 2021 at Commonwealth Care Senior Living in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Joppa, Maryland, he was the son of the late George and Gertrude (Mevius) Henning and husband of the late Mildred Henning. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a charter member, life member, and past president of Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Co. He was also a member of the American Legion, Post #110FL and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post #5690FL.

Richard is survived by his son, Ronald J. Henning and his wife Bonnie of Middle River, MD; grandchildren, Christopher S. Henning, Kelly Wyatt and Charles Lochamy; 5 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and sister, Ruth Hott Sparks.

In addition to his parents and his loving wife of 73 years, he is predeceased by his son, Michael S. Henning; grandchild, Debra Mariner; brother, Kenneth J. Henning; and sister, Dorothy E. Guercio.
