Richard S. Tredo

Richard passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.

His Sunday traditions included Gino's Pizza, Mussels and beer. He was an avid lover of the band Santana; he would play it every Sunday and entertain his family with his dancing to Evil Ways. He had a wicked sense of humor, laughed to laugh and at times was the only to get his own jokes. Richard worked for the Railroad for 35 years before retiring in 2005. Richard loved his family, friends and his puppies (Simba and Cody). He was a True Patriot loved his country, loved hunting and fishing was a gun enthusiast, and upon retiring loved to plant trees.

Richard is survived by his wife Carol Tredo (nee Mullan) of 38 years; his daughters, Rosie Tredo and her spouse Linda Newcombe, Tracey Slocum and her spouse Michele Reehill; Papa Rich to Juliana and Mackenzie Cobb. Richard is also survived by his brother, Mickey “Joseph” and Barbara Tredo, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be hosted by the family at a later date.
