Richard R. Cook

RICHARD R. COOK, age 92, of Bel Air, MD, died on August 4, 2008 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Pineville, WV, he was the son of the late Joseph Goff and Vida Emily Belcher Cook and husband of the late Gertrude Ellen Olinger Cook. He retired from the U.S. Government at Aberdeen Proving Ground where he was an Environmental Equipment Operator. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during WWII and was a member of the V.F.W. in Jarrettsville.

Mr. Cook is survived by two daughters, Linda Cook Kaiss and Constance Sue Johnson, both of Bel Air, MD; four sisters, Myrtle Marie Cline of Pineville, WV, Grace Cook of Bramwell, WV, Audie Bottomlee and Garnette Hatfield, both of Pineville, WV; four grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a daughter, Betty Jo Little; two sisters; three brothers; and a grandson, Joseph "Joey" Fleury Loughlin Jr.

Pallbearers will be Gregory McLaughlin, Corey McLaughlin, Raymond Johnson, Colin James McLaughlin, John G. Wooten Jr, and Kermit Glenn Olinger.
