Richard Herbert Felts, Sr.

RICHARD HERBERT FELTS, SR., age 68, of Aberdeen, died in Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore on April 29, 2005. Born in Rosedale, he was the son of the late Baker and Mildred Gray Felts. He worked as an administrative specialist for the government. He served his country in the U.S. Army for 26 years during the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts. He loved to play golf.

Mr. Felts is survived by his wife, Brigitte M. Burger Felts; four sons, Eddie Felts, Richard Felts, Jr., Bruce Felts all of Aberdeen, and Jeff Felts of Abingdon; two daughters, Kathy Cage of Rising Sun, and Judy Schnake of Chicago, Illinois; three brothers, Bob Felts of Baltimore, Donald Felts of Essex, and Jim Felts of Bel Air; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, John Felts.
