Richard Garry Blades

Richard Garry Blades, 63, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on December 30, 2014 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Elbert Allie Blades. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and owned and operated, since 1980, his own countertop and cabinet making business, A Touch of Wood, Inc. He loved fishing and crabbing in Crisfield.

Mr. Blades is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jeanne M. (Jakse) Blades; son, Matthew Garry Blades of Bel Air; mother, Evelyn Joyce Blades; brother, Larry Blades of Baltimore; and sister, Janice Blades of Baltimore.
