Richard E. Donahoo Sr.

Richard E. Donahoo Sr., age 78, of Joppa, MD, passed away on November 27, 2011 at Citizens Care Center in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Perryman, MD, he was the son of the late Theodore Donahoo and Catherine Powers Matz and husband of the late Doris J. Donahoo. A lifelong resident of Harford County, he served our country in the U.S. Navy. He worked hard all of his life and was employed at Eastern Stainless Steel for over 30 years. He also owned a cattle transport business in Harford County. He enjoyed watching Western films and taking rides through Pennsylvania with his wife.

Mr. Donahoo is survived by his son, Richard E. Donahoo Jr.; daughters, Valerie Wisniewski, Carol J. Donahoo and Linda Bendis; stepdaughter, Darlene Somers; and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
