Richard "Dick" G. Brauer

Richard "Dick" G. Brauer, age 80, of Fallston, MD passed away on March 31, 2017 at Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of William Elmer and Oleda M. (O'Shea) Brauer. He started his career at Acme Markets and was employed for over 20 years with Kemp's Foods. He had been in the ice cream business since the 1970's until his retirement. He loved to golf, play and coach softball, and take cruises with his wife. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, some friends of over 60 years. He found humor and wit in everything right up to his final days.

Mr. Brauer is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Patricia Martha Brauer; two daughters, Karen Odachowski of Jarrettsville and Denise G. Mellinger of Stewartstown, PA; brother, William Brauer of Baltimore; grandchildren, Kaeley Turk of Jarrettsville, Jamisen Brauer Barstow of Los Angeles, CA, Garrett Scott Mellinger of Woodby Island, WA, Connor Christofor Mellinger of Stewartstown, PA and Ronnie Odachowski, Jr. of Tacoma, WA; and great-granddaughter, Charlotte Ann Marta of Jarrettsville.
