Richard Carroll Christ

March 11, 1945 — December 24, 2020

Richard Carroll Christ, age 75, of Forest Hill, Maryland passed away on December 24, 2020 at Hart Heritage Estates - Forest Hill, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late William and Viola (Pinkerton) Christ. Rick was an alumni of Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, University of Maryland at College Park, and the University of Baltimore. Rick proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and cherished the Corps his entire life. Rick worked on mega engineering projects around the world for the Bechtel Corporation, mentored engineers both at home and abroad and was responsible for the successful completion of multi million and billion dollar projects. Rick was an avid golfer, storyteller, reader, fan of music, and his ability to consume and retain all types of information made him a threat on trivia nights. Rick was lucky to find and marry his soulmate Linda, his love of his family was immense, and was never more content than when he was in their presence.

Richard is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda Christ; sons, Marc (Melissa) Christ and Geoffrey Christ; grandchildren, Owen, Spencer, Matthew and Elizabeth Christ; sister, Betty Barrett; and brother, Donny Christ.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a grandson William Christ, sister, Peggy Kyle and brothers, Billy Christ and Tommy Christ and surrogate fathers Bob Barrett and John Kyle Sr.
