Richard C. Sexton

Richard C. Sexton, 71, of Bel Air, MD passed away on December 6, 2015 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Ralph Clark Sexton and Ethel Irene (Seitz) Sexton. He was a 1962 graduate of North Harford High School and had attended Harford Junior College and the University of Maryland. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Education from Towson State College. He retired, after 37 years, from Baltimore City Public Schools where he taught math and computer science. For 47 years, he operated his own accounting service and was a member of the National Society of Accountants. He enjoyed watching University of Maryland sports, especially their basketball team and "back in the day" he played saxophone in dance bands.

Mr. Sexton is survived by his wife of 47 years, Judith M. Sexton; son Andrew C. Sexton and wife, April, of Westminster; daughter, Carrie S. Johnson and husband, Jason, of Forest Hill; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Sarah Sexton and Lillian and Evan Johnson. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Esther Lee Whiteford.
