Richard Albert Hardy

Richard Albert Hardy, of Bel Air, MD died at the age of 77 on October 19, 2016 at his home. He was born in Baltimore, MD to Howard and Margaret (Coleman) Hardy. He worked at S. Goldman Company for 40 years and at Miller Minuteman Press for 12 years. He enjoyed reading, going to the opera and loved his dogs and birds.

Mr. Hardy is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty Jean Hardy; his children, Sheri Lynn Kelso of Abingdon, Richard David Hardy and Robyn Joan Graham both of Elkton; brothers, Thomas Hardy of Aberdeen and Calvin Hardy of Bel Air; his sister, Joan Hardy of Bel Air; his grandchildren, Jessica Diane Hardy, Michael Christopher Kelso, Matthew Thomas Kelso, Benjamin Andrew Graham, Jacob Howard Graham and Amanda Jo Hardy; and his great-grandson, Gary Thomas Kelso. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers, Howard, Billy and George Hardy; and his granddaughter, Janet Marie Hardy.
