Rev. Tracy A. Stanley, age 82, of Aberdeen, Maryland was reunited with his Heavenly Father on September 26, 2021 after a short battle with Covid pneumonia. Surrounded by family and with an unwavering devotion to God, he entered into his heavenly home completely at peace. Born in Kimball, West Virginia, he was the son of Roby and Pearl (Turpin) Stanley and husband of the late Deloris (Dudley) Stanley. They were married for 54 years.
Blessed with a servant’s heart, his life was filled with selfless acts. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a pillar of his community. He was dedicated to his church, Edgewood Assembly of God, and adored his church family. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending quality time with his grandchildren.
Tracy is survived by his daughters, Stacey Lynn Harrison (Fred) and Susan Muller (John Muller Jr.); grandchildren, Ryan Cherry, Shawn Cherry, Brianna Stanley and Lauren Muller; brother, Theodore Stanley; and sister, Josephine Ball.
A service will be held at Edgewood Assembly of God on Tuesday, October 5th at 10 a.m. with Rev. Brook Hicks officiating. The gathering will be held following CDC Covid-19 safety guidelines and will be livestreamed at https://www.edgewoodag.org/videos.
