Regina K. ''Miss Jean'' Barenz

REGINA K. “MISS JEAN” BARENZ, age 83, of Bel Air, died at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on May 16, 2005. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Anna Kotowski. A resident of Bel Air since 1968, she had worked at John Carroll School since 1969 in the cafeteria. Her love was the students that she met over the years. She was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church since 1969 where she was a daily communicant. She enjoyed having lunch every three months with some of her fellow graduates from Patterson High School. She was a very close friend of Sister Servants of Mary Immaculate.

Mrs. Barenz is survived by her husband of 59 years, George W. Barenz and two sisters, Eva Kotowski of Parkville and Leona Miles of Baldwin. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara Anne Barenz.
