June 29, 1927 — March 12, 2015

Regina I. Mauro, 87, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on March 12, 2015 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Hunter Franklin Blackburn and Regina Philamina Meushaw Blackburn and wife of the late Mario John Mauro.

Mrs. Mauro is survived by her daughters, Carmela Mauro of Perryville, Merrie Mauro-Freas of Lacey Springs, VA, Regina Clepper of Perryville, Angela Connor of Perryville and Melody Russell of Bel Air; brother, Ronald Dale Blackburn of Westminster; sisters, Lavera Blauciak of Brooklyn, Effie Mae McCarthy of Street, Janice Bafford of East Berlin, PA and Gayle T. Christopher of Street; grandchildren, Antoinette Mauro, Loren LaPadula, Mason Connor, Morgan LaPadula, Dalton Loughlin and Haley Loughlin. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Mario Joseph Mauro and brother, Hunter Franklin Blackburn Jr.

Pallbearers were Mason, Dalton, Loren, Chris, Nate and Eben.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.
