REGINA BRENNAN LEE, age 69, of Edgewood, MD, died on January 11, 2007, at her home. Born July 29, 1937, in Wilkes-Barre, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward James and Anna Elizabeth Fisher Brennan. She was educated at St. Nicholas High School, Wilkes-Barre, PA. She graduated from the College Misericordia, Dallas, PA, in 1959, earning a degree in education. She began her teaching career at Bristol Township, Levittown, PA. In 1964, she moved to Maryland and joined Harford County Public Schools as a faculty member at Joppatowne and Old Post Road Elementary schools. She finished her teaching experience as a substitute at Deerfield Elementary School. She was a founding member and active participant of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Edgewood, 1975, where she initiated and directed the C.C.D. program. She served as an R.C.I.A. director, a Eucharistic minister and a lector for the parish. A volunteer of the Edgewood Parks and Recreation program, she directed the Edgewood Aquanauts Swim team and was also registered through the Harford Swim League and USA Swimming.
Mrs. Lee is survived by her daughters, Hallie Lee Stroka of Frederick, MD, Anne Regina Lee of Bel Air, MD; a grandson, Andrew Michael Stroka of Frederick, MD; son-in-law, John Stroka of Frederick, MD; three sisters, Alethea Brennan of Wilkes-Barre, PA, Anne Brennan of Charlotte, NC, Mary Kalowsky of Peckville, PA; three nieces; four nephews; ten grand nieces and five grand nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Elizabeth Mary Lee in 1989.
