Reba Walker

Reba Lee Walker, age 90, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on February 24, 2017 at her home. Born in Sparta, North Carolina, she was the daughter of William F. and Lela Mae (Irwin) Hines. Mrs. Walker moved to Maryland as a teenager in the early 1940's and worked at the Bata Shoe Company as an inspector during WWII. She enjoyed flower gardening, sewing and needlepoint, taking pictures of her family, listening to country music, and she loved the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband during their retirement years to many Army reunions around the country.

Mrs. Walker is survived by her husband of 68 years, John C. Walker; her children, Judy Sweeney of Fair Hill, Ronald Walker of Perryman and Linda (Brent) Davidson of Havre de Grace; sister, Edna Jones of Sparta, NC; grandchildren, Denise (Michael) Rhoades of Wake Forest, NC and Brad Davidson of Havre de Grace; and great-granddaughter, Abby Rhoades of Wake Forest, NC.
