Reba Edwards Wachter

REBA EDWARDS WACHTER of Joppa, MD, died February 5, 2008 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. She was 88. Born January 21, 1920, she was the daughter of Lester Higgins and Mae Bennet Higgins of Sparta, NC. She was an active member of the Harford Artist Association, and her paintings could be seen throughout Harford County. Her family and faith guided her throughout her life and she was a devout member of the Holy Spirit Church in Joppa, MD. Reba Edwards Wachter was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and will be missed by many loving family members and friends.
Reba Edwards Wachter is survived by a daughter, B. Joan Edwards Harding of Bel Air, MD; two sisters, Ruth Richardson of Talbot, TN and Dorothy Shoffner of Kissimmee, FL; four grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, James Edwards and James Wachter.

Pallbearers will be James Wachter Jr., Robert Silveira, Jim Lane, Gary Harding, Corry Lane, and Michael Watson.
