RAYMOND NESBIT WHITE, age 95, of Bel Air, MD, died on April 30, 2008 at Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium, MD. Born in Kennesaw, GA, he was the son of the late Henry McCoy and Annie Senger White and husband of the late Katherine Giess White. Formerly of Perry Hall, MD, he retired from Glenn L. Martin Company after 32 years of service. He had a life-long interest in antique cars and was the last surviving charter member of the Chesapeake Region Antique Automobile Club, which began in 1955. A devout Christian, he was a member of White Marsh Baptist Church. After retirement, he and his wife traveled extensively overseas and visited the Holy Lands several times. He also enjoyed dancing and bowling.
Mr. White is survived by a daughter, Greta Cosette Hittle and her husband, Bruce David Hittle, of Bel Air, MD; one granddaughter, Heather Erika Rappold and her husband, James Paul Rappold, formerly of Bel Air, now living in Howard, OH; and two twin great-grandchildren, Aiden Randall and Audra Grace Rappold of Howard, OH. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by three brothers, John Senger White, Thomas LaVerne White, and Newton McCoy White.
