Raymond Koermer

Raymond Koermer, age 85, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on June 28, 2021 at his home in Bel Air. Born in Essex, Maryland, he was the son of the late George Joseph and Edna (Koerner) Everett and husband of Donna Lynn Koermer. He was the owner of Koermer painting and paper hanging for over 50 years until he retired in 2014. He was a member of the Fallston Volunteer Fire Company and the Bel Air Church of the Nazarene. He used to train and show German Shepherds. He and his wife would cook once a month for the Welcome One Homeless Shelter in Harford County. Raymond painted several show houses for the American Cancer Society in Baltimore County. He also enjoyed working in his garden, alongside his wife. Raymond was an avid deer hunter, enjoyed fishing, camping, and in his youth, he was a part of the boy scouts.

In addition to his wife, Raymond is survived by his three daughters, Teresa Walker, Jacquelyn (Dave) Magardo, and Siera (Andrew) Koermer; two step-sons, Christopher (Charla) Parkinson and Theodore (Meredith) Parkinson; ten grandchildren, Michael, Amanda, Joshua, Alexis, Jayden, Jaxon, Theodore, Julia, Carter, and Charley. Raymond and Donna were also guardians of their nephews Alexander and Ryan Cantor; sister, Patricia (Larry) Tillman; three brothers, George (Pat) Koermer, Kenneth Everett, and Joseph (Sherry) Everett.

The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Bel Air Church of the Nazarene, 2430 Conowingo Rd, Bel Air, MD at 2:00 pm.
