Raymond K. Benser

Raymond K. Benser, age 86, of Joppa, Maryland passed away on February 20, 2021 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late William and Rose Augusta (Combs) Benser and husband of the late Evelyn Benser. He was a veteran, serving his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was an English Teacher at Bel Air High School retiring in 1988, also being an assistant football and track and field coach. Raymond enjoyed Martial Arts and boxing.

Raymond is survived by his son, David Benser of Abingdon and his wife, Michelle; brother, Robert Benser; grandchildren, Samiey, Lexi, and Benjamin; and great grandchildren, Ayden and Collin.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Howard Benser; and great-granddaughter, Alyanna Nicole.

A private graveside service was held for family.
