RAYMOND JOSEPH MILLER, age 80, of Edgewood, MD, died on June 7, 2008 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Born in Ambridge, PA, he was the son of the late Jozef Pal Molnar and Margaret Leginy Kircher. An Edgewood resident since 1964, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served for 20 years, and during that time he fought in the Korean War. He had 20 years of Civil Service at Edgewood Arsenal. He enjoyed boating and hunting and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Alaska, American Legion Post #17, Gunpowder Neck Boating Activity Group, and the Harford Gunning Club.
Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of 37 years, Loretta "Betty" Jean Miller of Edgewood, MD; two sons, Alan Miller of Indiannapolis, IN and David Smith and his wife, Sandi, of Aberdeen, MD; two daughters, Joy Woodward and husband, Ed, of Florida and Lynn Sweetland and her husband, John, of Hyattsville, MD; three grandchildren, Kimberly Moylen and husband, Michael, of Colorado, Mark Woodward and wife, Priscilla, of Colorado, and Jeffrey Sweetland of Hyattsville, MD; and two great-grandchildren, Michael and Briana Moylen of Colorado. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Richard Miller.
