Raymond Earl Hughes, age 82, of Forest Hill, Maryland passed away on October 19, 2021, at his residence in Forest Hill, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Raymond and Margaret (nee Ledlich) Hughes. He was very involved in many organizations that included the Amateur Trap Shooting Assoc., MD State Sportsmen’s Assoc., Member of Bel Air Moose Lodge 1952 and served as Officer Trustee for a time, and was a Life Member of Delta Peach Bottom Fish and Game Assoc. He was part of the 1st graduating class of Edgewood High School in 1958. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed shooting trap, fishing, hunting, crabbing, and mowing grass.
Raymond is survived by his wife Joanna Hughes; daughter, Christine Lynn Lanning and husband Jeff; son, Raymond Hughes, Jr. and wife Adrienne; five grandchildren, Jessica and Abby Lanning, Nick, George and Christopher Hughes; sister, Linda and Arthur Ayers and their family; late brother, Richard Hughes and his surviving wife Lynette and their family.
