Raymond ''Buzz'' R. Hooker Jr.

Raymond "Buzz" R. Hooker Jr., age 70, of Edgewood, MD, passed away on December 26, 2011 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Raymond Rembold Hooker Sr. and Bessie Arlene Perry. In his younger years, he worked for Bata Shoe Company then went to work for Harford County Water and Sewer for 35 years before retiring in 2003. A member of the Abingdon Elks Lodge and Sons of the American Legion, he enjoyed hunting, camping, boating, gardening, and family. He will be greatly missed by his dear cat "Tink".

Mr. Hooker is survived by his wife of 50 years, Gale L. Fulks Hooker of Edgewood, MD; sons, Ronald R. Hooker and wife, Terry, of Abingdon, MD and David M. Hooker and wife, Susie, of Edgewood, MD; daughter, Connie L. Riley and husband, Thomas, of Rising Sun, MD; brother, Michael R. Hooker of Perryville, MD; sisters, Joan I. Cook of Aberdeen, MD, Arlene M. Justice of North East, MD, and Shelby J. Jones of Edgewood, MD; grandchildren, Jennifer Riley, Brooke Sullivan, Ashleigh Hooker, Jacob Riley, and Chelsea Hooker; great-grandchild, Channon Green; and aunt, Della Gall of Edgewood, MD.
