Raymond Bernard Drozd

October 9, 1937 — July 26, 2018

Raymond Bernard Drozd, age 80, of Havre de Grace, Maryland passed away on July 26, 2018 at Hart Heritage Estates in Street, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Andrew Lucyan and Bertha Theresa (Sobus) Drozd. He was a veteran of the US Air Force serving from 1955-1959 at Lackland Air Force Base and in Washington DC as part of the weather bureau. In 1997 he retired from Lever Brothers. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, and loved ballroom dancing, gardening, and listening to music. He also enjoyed going out on the water boating and fishing.

Mr. Drozd is survived by his wife of 48 years, come November 27, Irene Joan Drozd; friend, Jean S. Breitenbach; brother, Richard Drozd and wife, Mary of Perry Hall; two sisters, Geranda Miller of Wichita Falls, TX and Christina Vecchio of Baltimore.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Roman Bernard Drozd, and brother, Jerome Drozd.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 615 Congress Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD, 21078.
