Raymond B. Connolly Jr.

Raymond B. Connolly, age 79, of Joppa, MD, passed away on September 4, 2012 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Waltham, MA, he was the son of the late Raymond Bernard Connolly Sr. and Rebecca Blanc Connolly. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He retired, after 32 years as a weapons specialist working for the U.S. Army. A resident of Harford County for 37 years, he liked to bowl and was a member of the Edgewood American Legion, VFW and ASMIC.

Mr. Connolly is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marian Blanche Connolly of Joppa, MD; sons, Michael B. Connolly and wife, Lisa, and Steven N. Connolly all of San Antonio, TX; daughter, Maureen C. Crawford and husband, Linney, of Edgewood, MD; grandchildren, Kris Connolly and wife, Shelley, Alicia Crawford, Samantha Surrell and Stephanie Connolly; and great-grandchildren, Kaelin, Lilliana and Evangeline.
