RAY MILLER, age 52, of Port Deposit, Maryland died in University of Maryland Medical Center on September 22, 2005. Born in New Haven Connecticut, he was the son of Walter Duffy Miller of Bel Air and the late Helen Dorothy McKiernan Miller. He worked for the Maryland State Department of Health as an addictions counselor for 20 years. He was a member of NRA and an avid hunter. He enjoyed motorcycles and watching football. A 1971 graduate of Bel Air High School, he wrestled in high school and in college.
In addition to his father, Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of 20 years, Carol N. Nichols Miller; one son, Sean P. Miller of Port Deposit; three brothers, John M. Miller of Baltimore, Joseph A. Miller of Abingdon, and Timothy J. Miller of Pensocola, Florida; five sisters, Mary Ellen Beechener of Severn Park, Maryland, Patricia A. Warnagiris of White Hall, Kathleen A. Brown of Conowingo, Janet M. Goldscher of Owings Mills, and Nancy M. Dysard of Bel Air.
Pallbearers were: Joseph A. Miller, John A. Miller, Timothy J. Miller, John F. Dysard, Roger B. Beechener, Bernard S. Brown, John T. Warnagiris, and David Goldscher.
