Ray Lemoine

July 25, 1912 — August 21, 2005

RAYMOND LeMOINE, beloved father of Larry LeMoine, passed away at Lorien Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bel Air, MD on August 21, 2005. He was 93 years of age. Born in Luton, Iowa, he was the son of the late Clement LeMoine and Alice Lamoureaux LeMoine. He was predeceased by his first wife, Janet Burdick LeMoine of 36 years and his second wife, Olga Andersen LeMoine. He grew up in Sioux City, Iowa. His work in Women’s Retail took him to Wisconsin, Florida, and Rocky Mount, North Carolina where he lived the last 53 years until moving to Fallston, MD in January 2005 due to failing health.

Mr. LeMoine enjoyed spending time and vacations with his family. He was adored by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved being in the midst of noise and chaos of family gatherings. He walked, read many books and watched college basketball. He enjoyed traveling and took many trips with his wife Olga after retiring.

Mr. LeMoine is survived by one son, Larry Keith LeMoine and his wife, Janice, of Fallston, Maryland; one step-son, John Perry and his wife, Deborah of Wilmington, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Lori M. Prunty and husband, Tom, of Pittsburgh, PA, Gregory K. LeMoine and his wife, Nga, of Baltimore, MD, and Jeffrey G. LeMoine of Ocean City, MD; five great-grandsons, Tommy, Connor, Patrick, Casey, and Gavin Prunty all of Pittsburg, PA: three step-grandchildren, Misty Dawn Perry, Kathy Pope and husband, Frank, and John David Perry and wife, Sarah, all of Wilmington, NC; two step-great-granddaughters, Hailey Pope and Ashley Perry both of Wilmington, NC. He is also survived by nephew, Tom LeMoine and his wife, Rosie and their three children of Milwaukee, WI; and niece, Lorraine Butzen of Prescott, AZ.
