Ray Davis Sr.

RAY DAVIS SR., age 61, of Edgewood, MD, died on January 24, 2008 at Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium, MD. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late James Robert and Mattie Lee King Davis. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and served during the Vietnam War. He worked for 34 years at Crown Cork and Seal where he was a manager. A very dedicated family man, he enjoyed being with them, especially his brothers. He was fun loving and very generous to others.

Mr. Davis is survived by five children, Raymond Davis Jr. of Stone Mountain, GA, Robin K. Davis-Sabatini of Baltimore, MD, Lovett Davis of Baltimore, MD, Kellee L. Davis of Edgewood, MD, and Wendy C. Davis of Catonsville, MD; three brothers, James R. Davis Jr. of Queens, NY, Emmett Davis of Sacramento, CA, and Lovett P. Davis of Lake Hiawatha, NJ; one sister, Ophelia Brown of Queens, NY; and three grandchildren, Eric Robert Davis of Stone Mountain, GA, Teia Elena Pierce of Edgewood, MD, and Joshua Giovanni Sabatini of Baltimore, MD.
