Ralph Moxley, age 90, of Jarrettsville, MD, passed away on December 9, 2017 at Woodlands Assisted Living in Middle River, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Mac Coy and Octavia C. (Cooper) Moxley and was the husband of the late Frances Alice Moxley. He was a veteran of the US Navy where he served his country during War II. A resident of Jarrettsville for 65 years, he had spent winters in Arizona and Florida. He retired after 33 years with C&P Telephone Company where he worked as a cable lineman, and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, Bel Air American Legion and the VFW. He loved to travel and enjoyed restoring cars, Fords to be exact. He also enjoyed life and had a great sense of humor.
Mr. Moxley is survived by three daughters, Deborah Borkowski and husband, James, of Estero, FL, Joan Moxley of Street and Teresa Himmer of Aberdeen; son, Richard Moxley and wife, Gail, of Delta, PA; brother, Mac C. Moxley, Jr. of Bel Air, 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Marie Cox, Gladys Davis and Geneva Finney.
