PHYLLIS CRITZER, age 78, of Red Lion, Pennsylvania, died at her residence on July 17, 2003. Born in Beckley, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Dewey Price and Edith Pearl Rader Canterbury, and the wife for 49 ½ years of the late Joseph Edward Critzer. She worked as a telephone operator for the main post office in Baltimore, the Custom House in Baltimore and the Air Research and Development Command for 4 ½ years. She had also worked as a telephone operator for GBMC for 18 years. She liked to work puzzles, enjoyed her time with her grandchildren and was an avid gardener.
Mrs. Critzer is survived by one son, Peter Alan Critzer of Bel Air; one daughter, Phyllis Ellen Watkowski of Red Lion, Pennsylvania; one sister Pearl Canterbury Furr of Montgomery, Alabama; and four grandchildren.
