Phyllis Marie Nickel

June 6, 1941 — December 16, 2016

Phyllis Marie Nickel, of Parkville, MD, died at the age of 75 on December 16, 2016 at Seasons Hospice@Franklin Square in Rosedale, MD. She was born in Baltimore, MD to Phillip and Marie (Ulsch) Shine and was the wife, for 55 years, of the late Albert G. Nickel Jr. She and her husband enjoyed traveling with her favorite trips being to New Zealand and Thailand. They were both members of The Lions Club and the Edgewood Jaycees and were also involved in the Allemande Square Dancing Club in Wisconsin. She also enjoyed league bowling with her Edgewood girlfriends.

Survivors include her children, Jeff Nickel and wife, Angie Kuhl, Scott Nickel and wife, Linda, and Jaki Tucker and husband, Philip; her grandchildren, Karianne Voight, Aaron Voight, Sarah Bernett, Quinn Nickel and Rose Nickel; and great-grandchildren, Oliver Voight and Walter Voight. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Albert G. Nickel III.
