Phyllis Irene Hartley Himmer

Phyllis Irene Hartley Himmer, age 87, of Fallston, MD, died on December 27, 2008 at her home. Born in Montana, she was the daughter of the late Lewis D. and Callie Hash Hartley, and wife of the late Harold Herget Himmer.

Mrs. Himmer is survived by a daughter, Patricia Ann Richardson of Raleigh, NC and a son, Ronald Gordon Himmer, of Scituate, Mass., five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by six brothers, and three sisters.

Mrs. Himmer lived in Falls Church, VA for 13 years but spent the remainder of her life in Maryland where she ran the Himmer Country Store in Fallston and was the first crossing guard in Harford County. Phyllis was a member of Union Chapel Church and Fallston Community Club.
