Philomena ''Pat'' Patricia Barry

On Saturday, April 6, 2013, PHILOMENA PATRICIA (PAT) BARRY passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family at St. Joseph Hospital in Towson. She was 85 years old.

She was born in Yorkshire, England and raised in Manchester. She was the youngest of eight children born to Ernest and Frances Fleming. She came to the US in 1953 and married an Army officer in 1955. They were married for 29 years before divorcing. She was a resident of Joppatowne since 1970 and was a parishioner of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

She has lived with her daughter and son-in-law in Joppatowne since 2008 before becoming a resident of Stella Maris this past January.

She was the loving mother of Patricia Lewis and her husband Donald of Joppatowne, Sheila Frampton of Rising Sun and Jacqueline Barry of Joppa. She was the loving "Mom Mom" to ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was the former wife of John F. Barry.

She was preceded in death by her cherished son, John Patrick Barry and parents Ernest and Frances Fleming. She was also preceded by five brothers and two sisters. She was especially close to her sister Mary Geiman, who passed away in 2005.

She loved to play Bingo and was an avid Baltimore Orioles fan and of Manchester United Football (soccer). She was a member of the Joppatowne Golden Agers. She was loved so very much and will be missed terribly.

Pallbearers will be John, Josh, Christopher, Michael and Chris.
